TERMS &  CONDITIONS

  • Designers must register to participate in Emirates Fashion Week® by completing the online application form.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® will review the application details and select designers based on their creativity, innovation, and relevance to the fashion industry.
     

  • Designers must submit their lookbook or sketches by the specified deadline. They must also provide a detailed description of the materials and techniques used in their designs.
     

  • All designs submitted must be original and not copied by any existing design or designer. Any infringement of copyright laws will result in immediate termination.
     

  • Designers must attend all fittings and rehearsals as scheduled by Emirates Fashion Week®. Failure to attend may result in elimination.
     

  • Designers are granted access to EFW's models for the physical fashion show. However, if the designers choose to bring their own models, the models must comply with the eligibility criteria and must be at least 18 years of age, and must meet the height and weight requirements specified by Emirates Fashion Week®.
     

  • Designers must ensure that their designs are completed and ready for the fashion show by the specified deadline. Any delays may result in disqualification.
     

  • All intellectual property rights for the designs submitted remain with the designers. However, by participating in Fashion Week, designers grant Emirates Fashion Week® the right to use their designs for promotional purposes.
     

  • Designers must abide by a code of conduct that promotes professionalism, respect, and courtesy towards all participants, including other designers, models, and EFW® staff.
     

  • Designers are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their team or designs during the fashion show. They must also have liability insurance to cover any potential damages or injuries. 
     

  • ​In compliance with health and safety regulations, designers may be required to furnish a COVID-19 test report prior to their entry into the event premises.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® will not be providing any accommodations or travel arrangements for the runway show, and any specific services or arrangements required must be communicated to the EFW® team no later than August 20, 2025.
     

  • Please be aware that organizing and producing a fashion show is a significant financial undertaking. As a participant, you will need to cover a minimum fee, which starts at $10,000 for a physical show with a prime time slot. The fee may vary depending on current promotions or offers.
     

  • Upon request, designers may opt to split the payment into four installments to help manage the finances of their show.
     

  • All payments made to Emirates Fashion Week® are nonrefundable [See Refund Policy]. Designers must review and agree to the terms and conditions before making any payments. If a designer is unable to participate, payments will not be refunded but can be transferred to the next season, subject to approval by EFW®.
     

  • The designer will receive an agreement from Emirates Fashion Week® to sign and return via email, along with the payment receipt.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® has the authority to change the fee structure and payment policy at any time, but designers will be notified beforehand.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® will not be responsible for any sales or public relations activities of the Fashion Houses at any stage of the event.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® is committed to providing equal opportunities to all models, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or ethnicity. Discrimination or harassment based on any of these factors will not be tolerated by any of the people associated with the event. All models, irrespective of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or ethnicity, are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated solely based on their talent, professionalism, and compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. Our unwavering commitment to promoting diversity in the fashion industry is hereby affirmed.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® reserves the right to terminate the participation of any designer who violates any of the terms and conditions or engages in any behavior deemed inappropriate.
     

  • By submitting your application to participate in Emirates Fashion Week®, you confirm that you have reviewed all terms and conditions and understand the associated costs and requirements.

  • Models must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid government-issued photo ID.
     

  • Models are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive will result in immediate dismissal from the event.
     

  • Models are responsible for providing their own appropriate clothing and accessories for the event. All outfits and accessories must be approved by Emirates Fashion Week® before the event.
     

  • Models must provide their vital stats, which should not be more than two weeks old and should be accompanied by the date of measurement.
     

  • Models must comply with all health and safety regulations and requirements. If a model is feeling unwell, they must inform the designated health and safety officer or event crew immediately.
     

  • All content created or produced during the event, including photographs and videos, will be the property of Emirates Fashion Week®.
     

  • Models may not disclose any confidential information related to Emirates Fashion Week® or its organizers without express written consent.
     

  • Models will be held liable for any damages caused to the event venue or equipment due to their negligence or misconduct.
     

  • It is mandatory for models to be physically present during the trial sessions for fittings and other necessary adjustments.
     

  • Models are responsible for the transportation cost for the initial trial session, while the designer will bear the transportation cost for the models if multiple trial and fitting sessions are required.
     

  • In compliance with health and safety regulations, models may be required to furnish a COVID-19 test report prior to their entry into the event premises.
     

  • Models will receive their compensation within 30 days after the completion of the event unless otherwise agreed upon with Emirates Fashion Week®.
     

  • Models are required to sign an agreement with Emirates Fashion Week® and are strictly prohibited from withdrawing from the event. Any violation of this agreement will result in a penalty of 5,000 USD (18,000 AED).
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® is committed to providing equal opportunities to all models, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or ethnicity. Discrimination or harassment based on any of these factors will not be tolerated by any of the people associated with the event. All models, irrespective of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or ethnicity, are encouraged to apply and will be evaluated solely based on their talent, professionalism, and compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. Our unwavering commitment to promoting diversity in the fashion industry is hereby affirmed.
     

  • Any model who does not meet the application criteria or does not agree to the terms and conditions is expressly prohibited from submitting an application.
     

  • Emirates Fashion Week® reserves the right to terminate the contract of any model who fails to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.
     

  • Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the event is held.
